You Can Never Have Too Much Space

Well, that’s not always true… but these organizational projects might help with some of the clutter caused by not enough space.

Sometimes small spaces are the most intimate, but not when they’re full of clutter. I have been searching for ways to make a little more space in areas that seem chaotic. When everything has a place, it’s easy enough to keep it in its place, but when things don’t seem to belong, they accumulate into a pile; usually on the kitchen counter, on the stairs, or somewhere in my bedroom. (Well, at least at my house). Here are a few easy solutions.

This is a great way to get the curlers, straighteners and cords out of sight.

Need a place for all your jewellery?

I can never seem to find enough counter space for all the things I have in the bathroom, I found this easy and cute solution.

Reinventing The Pallet

I have come across so many different ways to use pallets in Interior design. They are a great way to add some inexpensive personal touches to your home. They also add that rustic country feel I love.

So in no particular order, here are some fun projects using old pallets.

This shelf is very simple. The first picture shows a pallet simply hung on the wall, the second is for those who don’t mind getting there hands dirty to stain it.

This is just one example of some fun and original pallet seating. You can get as creative as you want with this easy project. It is simple to personalize with a coat of paint and your choice of cushions. The example given above would be perfect for theatre style seating in your home. You could also use them as a bench in the house, or outdoors. This project is so versatile and it has endless possibilities with what you can do.
